Eggs Tier List

This Eggs Tier List maps every major nest band in Break and Steal an Egg so you know what you are breaking before you spend a Speed potion or a risky Galaxy run. Eggs are the doorway to animals: left-click to break, press E to steal what hatches, escape the guardian, and place the pet in your Pen. Rarity climbs with distance from the Safe Zone. If your pickaxe cannot finish the shell quickly, the NPC wins the footrace — upgrade tools using the Pickaxes guide before blaming your trail.

For what to keep after the hatch, open the Animals Tier List. For movement gates and NPC difficulty flavor, use the Zones guide beside this page. Parent rankings and rarity philosophy live on the Tier List Hub.

How to read this list

  • Zone Speed is the recommended movement value on the gate, not a promise you can escape with a giant carry.
  • Rarity describes the egg band for that field.
  • Eggs name the publicly documented nests in each area.
  • Tier note is stage advice: S means prioritize when you first unlock the zone; C means optional once higher fields are open.

Meeting Speed but failing breaks usually means pickaxe power is low. Meeting break time but failing returns usually means trail equip, treadmill base, or route practice — see How to Get Speed and How to Steal.

Rarity ladder recap

Common → Uncommon → Rare → Epic → Legendary → Mythic → Divine → Cosmic → Secret. Shop tools may show Celestial on the final pickaxe and trail rows; nest Secret eggs in Galaxy are still the collection peak for field spawns. The free Sabertooth Egg from Community Rewards is Legendary without a Swamp clear — claim it via Codes and count it toward Index goals on the Index Hub.

Zone-by-zone notes

Forest (Common) — Speed 5

Rock and Forest eggs teach the loop. Break power from the starter Wooden Pickaxe is enough. Focus on learning E steals, Pen placement, and the Trails Shop location. Do not overstay once Desert Speed is reachable; Forest Commons fall off for income quickly. Still log both eggs for Index completion.

Desert (Uncommon) — Speed 1,000

Cactus and Bones nests are the first “real” cash step. Medium NPC pressure means a thin Speed buffer gets punished. Buy early pickaxes (Stone → Iron → Golden) so break time stays short. Equip White or Blue trail multipliers instead of assuming the old Speed upgrade shop still exists.

Snowy (Rare) — Speed 50,000

Frozen and Yeti eggs introduce heavier carries. Hard NPC difficulty plus cold-themed nests make route practice mandatory. If breaks feel slow, jump toward Diamond / Strawberry pickaxe power before grinding hours of treadmill only.

Candy (Epic) — Speed 750,000

Three Epic eggs (Easter Bunny, Candy, Rainbow) mean Index hunters should rotate targets instead of only farming the first nest they find. Extra Hard guardians punish greed. This is often where players first feel trails “not working” because they forgot to equip after buying Purple or Red — fix that in the Trail menu.

Swamp (Legendary) — Speed 12,000,000

Gooey, Tree, and Lake eggs define the Legendary field band. Insane NPC tags are earned. Pair Swamp clears with your already-claimed Sabertooth so Legendary Index coverage is broad. Merge duplicates rather than filling every Pen slot with near-identical earners — Pet Merge.

Ocean (Mythic) — Speed 150,000,000

Sea Stones, Water, and Sea eggs demand serious break power and Demon-tier escape discipline. Mythic income funds the climb toward Hell’s billion Speed gate. Inventory selling can clear outdated Epics after they are Indexed.

Hell (Divine) — Speed 1,000,000,000

Fallen Angel, Angel, and Volcanic eggs sit behind Impossible-rated pressure. Divine pets reshape Pen income. Bring potions if you use them for push sessions, and expect boss-style guards after the bosses update noted on Updates.

Blossom (Cosmic) — Speed 5,000,000,000

Blossom, Bamboo, and Fortune eggs are the Cosmic pre-endgame set. Insane difficulty continues. Treat Blossom as Galaxy rehearsal: heavy carries, long returns, and little room for unequipped trails.

Galaxy (Secret) — Speed 25,000,000,000

Sun, Starry, and Blackhole Secret eggs are the current ceiling, watched by a three-headed hydra. Giant eggs appear here more often in player reports — high pickaxe power (late ladder toward Celestial) matters as much as Speed. Failures are expensive; only queue Galaxy when your buffer, trail, and break time are ready. Secret animals dominate late Animals rankings when you can actually land them.

Pickaxe pairing cheat sheet

Your egg targetPickaxe mindset
Forest → DesertWooden → Golden is enough
Snowy → CandyDiamond through Cactus / Lightning band
Swamp → OceanCandy / Rainbow into Crystal
Hell → BlossomDivine / Cosmic shop rows
Galaxy SecretsLate Secret → Celestial power

Exact costs and Power values are listed on Pickaxes. Do not buy Celestial hoping it replaces Speed — it only shortens break time.

Special eggs outside the zone table

  • Sabertooth Egg (Legendary) — Community Rewards after joining ILGames x Eggs and verifying username. Not a Forest spawn.
  • Titanic / event eggs — May appear during Admin Abuse or timed spawns. See Admin Abuse when events are scheduled.
  • Merged eggs — Produced from the pet merge machine rather than a zone nest; still hatch animals that affect Pen and Index.

Practical session plan

  1. Check Speed vs the next zone gate.
  2. Confirm trail is equipped.
  3. Confirm pickaxe can break the target rarity in a few seconds.
  4. Clear each egg name in the zone for Index before tunnel-visioning one nest.
  5. Place or merge using Animals advice.
  6. Advance when escapes are consistent, not when you merely touched the gate number once.

Eggs are only half the economy. Come back to this list after every patch that adds nests or retunes Galaxy, and cross-check Updates so Secret names stay accurate.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

How many zone egg bands are there?

Nine outdoor zones from Forest to Galaxy, each with Common through Secret rarity bands and two or three named eggs as listed in the table above.

What eggs are in the Galaxy zone?

Secret-rarity Sun, Starry, and Blackhole eggs, guarded by a three-headed hydra at around 25 billion recommended Speed.

Why can I reach a zone but not finish eggs?

Speed opens the gate; pickaxe Power finishes the shell. Upgrade pickaxes when break time lets the guardian catch you.

Is the Sabertooth Egg in a zone?

No. It is a Legendary Community Rewards claim after joining ILGames x Eggs and verifying your username in the Shop.

Where should I go after reading this eggs list?

Use the Animals Tier List for Pen priorities, Pickaxes for Power upgrades, and Zones for NPC and route context.
