Your Safe Zone is not a lobby you skip. In Break and Steal an Egg, the Pen and treadmill decide whether zone gates feel fair or impossible. Trails multiply Speed only after you equip them, and that multiplier still needs a trained base. Pen capacity decides whether a Titanic Admin Abuse egg or a Galaxy Secret animal has somewhere to live. Treadmill — how to train efficiently
- Equip your best affordable trail first. An unequipped trail trains like you never bought it.
- Step on the treadmill and stay there for a deliberate block (five to fifteen minutes beats alt-tabbing for an hour).
- After big shop spends, return to the treadmill so base Speed matches the next Zones checkpoint.
- Optional: use a treadmill-oriented potion during focused blocks only.
- Re-test a real steal. If escapes still fail, train more before paying for deeper nests.
Treadmill upgrades (when available in the live shop) reduce friction for longer AFK-friendly training. Prioritize them when you already understand trail equip rules from the Trails update and still need raw base Speed for Candy (750,000), Swamp (12,000,000), or Galaxy (25,000,000,000) buffers.
Pen — capacity and income
The Pen is your bank. Upgrading Pen capacity matters when:
- Every slot is filled with Indexed mid pets and you cannot place a better hatch.
- Events threaten Titanic spawns (Admin Abuse).
- Merge outputs need room beside existing earners.
Upgrade mindset:
- Keep top $/s animals (Animals Tier List).
- Merge triples before panic-buying capacity (Pet Merge).
- Sell Indexed clutter (Inventory).
- Then buy Pen upgrades if you still lack slots.
- Never wipe the Pen to zero income “for cleanliness.”

- Claim freebies on Codes.
- Confirm trail equipped.
- Short treadmill block toward the next Speed checkpoint.
- Steal in the highest consistent zone (How to Steal).
- Place, Index-claim, merge, sell junk.
- Buy the shop row that matches the last failure.
- Repeat.
During busy Admin Abuse hours, train before the event so you can spend the live window on contested spawns instead of catching up on base Speed.
Quality-of-life updates that changed the base
The September–October 2026 patches added inventory selling, pet merge, potions, refreshed bosses, and Galaxy. Your Safe Zone gained more sinks and more tools. If an older tip says “buy Speed upgrades from the old shop,” ignore it — that ladder was replaced by trails (Trails update). Always re-check Updates after a headline patch so treadmill and Pen advice still matches the live client.
